Conclusions
Doppler-derived measurements of peak reverse ejection intraventricular pressure difference (REIVPDs) provide a sensitive, reliable, reproducible, and relatively load-independent index of the rate of LV relaxation. When combined with early myocardial lengthening velocity, this method improves the assessment of LV relaxation in the clinical setting.

Usamos todos os dias os conceitos de Doppler como se fossem medidas diretas das pressões intraventriculares. Agora existe comprovação.
