The management of tricuspid regurgitation involves a multidisciplinary team with experience managing this disease process. Clinical, anatomical, and hemodynamic factors play a large role in determining the appropriate management strategy. Current management options are expanding as we begin to understand the role of diuretic therapy, management of left HF, and pulmonary hypertension, as well as rhythm and cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) therapy. The multidisciplinary team must assess the risks and benefits of surgical and transcatheter therapies in a shared decision-making approach with the patient.
