In conclusion, this study evaluating patients with lower limb disabilities found that Arm-ExSEC demonstrated a sensitivity of 72% and specificity of 80% in detecting significant CAD. Furthermore, Arm-ExSEC emerged as an independent predictor of MI and cardiac mortality.
These results suggest that Arm-ExSEC could be a valuable tool for both diagnosing and prognosticating CAD, particularly in patients who cannot undergo traditional ExSEC due to lower limb impairments.
