CONCLUSIONS

Examination of the alterations in E_A/E_LV and its components, E_A and E_LV with aging, hypertension, and HF at rest and during exercise is often overlooked, yet it can yield mechanistic insights into the pathophysiology of these conditions and how they differ between men and women.
