Conclusions
Inferolateral wall TPD is delayed in MVP. TPD is a novel method to characterize chordal-leaflet-myocardial interactions in patients with MVP. Prolapse severity does not predict TPD, likely because of the timing of prolapse and dynamic loading conditions. Implications of this observation include attribution of a perceived wall motion abnormality in MVP during stress echocardiography to a physiologic state and new mechanistic insights into mitral valve physiology.

Acreditamos que a rotação horária da base na parede infero-lateral é mais importante na percepção. Seria mais um deslizamento oblíquo do que longitudinal, dando a impressão de menor movimentação e espessamento.
No PVM, o anel Mitral deforma e opõe menor sustentação para a rotação, gerando o atraso?

Conclusion
Our meta-analysis confirms that brachial FMD and PAT are independent predictors of future CV events and all-cause mortality, beyond traditional CV risk factors. The strength of association of FMD and CV events is higher in patients with already established CVD, suggesting that FMD may be more useful in screening for recurrent CVD events in patients at high risk, rather screening than in a healthier general population cohort. Studies examining the role of FMD and PAT in clinical risk prediction and medical decision-making are needed.

Conclusions—In a population-based sample of patients undergoing PCI primarily for acute coronary syndromes, 1 in 8 had subsequent stress imaging when they were asymptomatic. These stress imaging tests resulted in further revascularization in <1% of patients. The low rate of downstream revascularization suggests that stress imaging in asymptomatic patients after PCI has low value.

Por que um exame que dá tantas informações como a RM cardíaca economiza no laudo e o ecocardiografista escreve um romance ?

Porque o médico da RM não quer ser redundante, escreve o que interessa ao solicitante e só o que pode ser afirmado com razoável segurança no laudo.

Já o ecocardiografista faz um laudo “tunado” como o Fusca abaixo, mas que continua sendo um Fusca!!!
